PERSONAL CHARITY
Hello everyone, I am reviving this blog with the new direction of doing personal charity only, meaning not as a broad program, but done only by individuals like you and me. In this blog, you could post your appeals about individual people that you are helping, so that others could also help them.
My first appeal is for and in behalf of Lola Serfina. She is about 80 years old. She is a scavenger in Las Pinas. She is too old to work really, and should be in a senior home, but poverty is forcing her to go out in the streets everyday looking for scraps that she could sell to the junk shop.
I talked to her today and I found out that she is from La Paz, Iloilo. I asked her if she wants to go home. She said yes, but she does not have transportation money. I asked her of she could have livelihood if she goes home, and she said yes, because she has a small piece of land in La Paz that she could farm.
Let me know if you want to help her, so that I could look for her in the streets. She gave me directions to her shanty too, so I know where to go in case I could not find her in the streets.

Greetings Bro
Since you "vouch" for her and since you are my brother, I am willing to pay her one way fare on the Super Ferry or Negros Nav from Manila to Iloilo--hope some others will give her some "pocket" money for her travel and relocation.
